They called it Passchendaele

On 22 May 2024, the temporary exhibition “They called it Passchendaele” opened at the Passchendaele Museum in Zonnebeke. The exhibition focuses on archaeological excavations in the region. Specifically, I conducted research into the excavations at the Wienerberger brickworks (2011-2012), Frezenbergstraat (2021-2023) and the chance finds of fallen soldiers from the region.

I was then able to translate the scientific research into exhibition panels aimed at the general public. These panels were displayed together with a selection of the most unique archaeological finds. ( exhibition only in Dutch)
